This type of Guitar is the hardest type of guitar to
make. The Top is carved from 2 pieces of wood
that are from the same part of the tree. First a
large enough piece of wood is carved from the
tree to make the top. Then the piece of wood is
cut in half and the 2 pieces are glued together.
The top is then hand carved from the 2 glued
pieces, into the shape of the top. Sometimes the
Top is carved from one solid piece of wood.
The Tailpiece and the Headstoke are laminated
with Walnut. The Tailpiece and Pickguard is Ebony.
